Delivery operations occur 6 days per week and customers have the ability to order their products 24 hours a day through our online ordering system. Alternatively, they can contact our customer service team directly Monday to Friday between 9 am – 5 pm.

About the Role
The Pick Packer is responsible for picking, preparing and loading dry goods and cold goods according to customer orders for dispatch from the warehouse.
Start at 9 pm to 5 am from Sunday night to Saturday morning. (6 nights per week preferred)
· Pick orders according to invoice and the bulk pick sheet by locating items in the warehouse
· Load picked items onto a pallet carefully and safely
· Ensure goods picked are correct, intact, in date and clean for the customer
· Ensure items are picked in a timely and efficient manner
· Assist with loading goods picked onto trucks for dispatch
· Replenish any shelves with additional stock in preparation for additional picking needs and to assist with stock rotation
· Check goods at loading dock are correct according to the pick list per customer
· Ensure any item missing from the pick/run sheet is picked immediately to ensure all goods are correctly dispatched to the customer
· Prepare the dock for the next run to be loaded onto the truck
· Prepare empty boxes ready for goods to be packed for a customer order
· Locate and drive correct truck to the loading dock in preparation for loading of a run
· Check and record credits issued/returned accurately on the relevant run sheet
About You
· Strong attention to detail
· Physically fit and able to lift/carry items up to 25kg and able to walk, stand, bend and lift for prolonged periods
· Previous 2-3 years of experience in a similar role warehouse work environment (required)
· Current Forklift licence (desirable)
· Good communication skills that reflect a professional but friendly approach to liaise effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures.
· Highly motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills so has the ability to work effectively in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to work well in a busy environment, multitask several duties at once while remaining calm under pressure.
· Possess a sound level of problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions as per company standard operating procedures and recognising when to escalate issues to management.
