What you will be doing
Are you ready for a new challenge? Are you passionate about shaping and maintaining great relationships? Do you have experience of handling complex structured deals in an international environment?
As a Loan Officer your are mainly responsible for:
- Understanding all aspects of deal/loan administration functions and tasks
- Interpreting credit agreements and related documentation
- Constructing bilateral and syndicated deal structures in loan platform (Loan IQ) including amending existing deal structures
- Ensuring that Credit and Operations systems are enriched with deal details, to a high degree of accuracy at all times
- Ensuring that deal revenue is booked and distributed correctly and at the appropriate time
Who we are looking for
We are looking for you who take initiatives both regarding your own development and learning, as well as in the development of the department and our ways of working. You have a good understanding of the credit process and policies, as well as of both domestic and international payments.
Required qualifications;
- Experience of and knowledge in loan system Loan IQ
- Experience reading and interpreting LMA/LSTA loan documentation or related experience dealing with legal documentation
- Basic knowledge of general ledger account structures
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken English
- Basic knowledge in Swedish is meriting
- Very good knowledge of excell / M365
To be a good fit for this role as a Loan Officer you;
- have strong analytical skills and are demonstrating sound decision-making abilities to identify problems and propose solutions
- have a proven track record of good interpersonal skills and are interacting professionally and confidently with senior deal team members within the Front Office
- think strategically and tactically to design process improvement ideas with the flexibility to adjust to new innovations, regulations, and priorities.
- enjoy working in teams as well as self independent
- like new assignments and challenges in a rapidly changing environment whilst remaining control orientated
- are organized, structured and can handle short deadlines
