About you, our preferred Intern
You are studying for your bachelor’s or master’s degree and are interested in what it would be like to work in Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and are eager to combine your theoretical knowledge with some actual working experience. You would like to see what it is like to work for a company in the midst of the energy transition with more than 7,000 employees spread across thirteen countries worldwide, in multiple office locations and a fleet of offshore vessels, and with a true multicultural flavor of over 80 different nationalities.
You are interested in how to develop and implement D&I programs that enhance, drive and measure greater inclusivity and representation across an organization. Furthermore, you have an open cultural mindset, are confident to speak and write in English and communicate at all levels in an organization.

In addition, you:
- Are following a bachelor or master’s degree in D&I, communications, human resources, cultural/arts/media studies or similar
- Need to do an internship which combines work experience with a small research topic
- Are pragmatic, eager to learn, flexible and not afraid to speak your mind
- Are fluent in English, another language is a plus
- Have excellent MS Office skills, with data analysis and presentation skills a plus
- Are able to communicate on multiple levels in a friendly and professional matter
About the Diversity & Inclusion Internship
You will work together with our Employee Communications Manager and have plenty of opportunities to interact with teams in Human Resources, and Sustainability also involved in aspects of our employee Diversity & Inclusion program. You’ll work on the following activities:
- Actively participate in the global Diversity & Inclusion Ambassadors network
- Prepare and present content and initiatives at monthly Ambassador meetings
- Enhance D&I reporting and provide input for the company’s Annual Report
- Participate in meetings with Senior Business Leaders in Communications, HR and Sustainability
- Develop and establish governance for a global employee outreach program for schools, working with HR and Sustainability
- Support deployment of the employee outreach program
- Study and make recommendations for company long-term D&I targets and strategy
