We are looking for a pottery studio assistant for our studio in Zurich.
Main tasks:
- General supervision of the studio during the opening hours
- Answer regarding the functioning of the studio, clay/glazes and material
- General cleaning and tidying after the workspace hours
- Loading and unloading the pottery kiln
- Clay recycling
- Finishing student’s creations (trimming and glazing)
- Packaging of finished work
- Notify customers when the pick-up of their work is possible
- Cashing material fee
- Answer general email enquiries
- Manage bookings
Requirements:
- English (very good knowledge), German (basic understanding - good to have)
- Experience in working with clay
- Working fast and in a organized way
- Pro-active and positive attitude
- Good communication skills and like to share ideas
Workload: 20%, with the possibility of extending the hours
Starting date: to be defined
Salary: hourly wage
