- Understand adidas’ material supply chain end to end and how it is being managed across different functions including operations and planning
- Work alongside and familiarize with sourcing operations activities across production locations involving fabric mills and other apparel component manufacturers (T2s) and understand supplier portfolio, delivery performance and unique capabilities
- Getting exposure to the integration of diverse data sources and analytics used by materials operations
- Work with cross functional team (operations, materials planning, fabric mills) to improve existing metrics and development of new reporting and data analysis tools
- Review existing workflows and operations value stream and initiate leaner tools relating to forecast, order management, escalations
- Collate with material operations and planning teams and support to develop material flow standards and SOPs within material operations
- Conduct data analysis and support preparation of results for supplier management and decision making
- Interface with upper management and leadership to determine musts and wants for project data and reporting functions
- Integrate into a multinational & multicultural team and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues

- Solid experience with large scale data analysis (e.g. from university projects or previous internships)
- Accomplished computer skills and data analytical skills including Microsoft Excel; Power BI, Alteryx
- Effective communicator with fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams to deliver concrete project deliverables in a timely manner
- Background/previous experience in computer science/data analytics background
- Experience in textile industry or sourcing organisation of a global consumer goods brand (is a plus)
- Degree in data science, computer science or comparable degree
- Project management experience (is a plus)
